1930 Severe Radio Interference in Squamish, BC
First letter below A letter to J.A. Quick, Superintendent of the Pacific Great Eastern Railway from the Secretary of the Squamish Board of Trade. The letter informs J.A. Quick of the severe radio interference experienced, noting that this could be due to various reasons including the transference of electricity from the electric lines/power house and it requests assistance on this matter.
Second letter below A letter of reply from J.A Quick, Superintendent to L. Adams, Secretary, to the original correspondence from May 2nd, 1930 regarding severe radio interference. The letter reports that examination of power lines and equipment did not produce the cause for the interference. They state that support would be provided if the Board were to bring in a Radio inspector.
