Dale Snowdon

Microwave Engineer in the Moncton Regional Office

of the Department of Communications (DOC)

When I was in YQM, the fellow in the Moncton DOC office I use to deal with was Dale Snowdon another ex TC fellow.   Because of my strong background in EMC/EMI I dealt with the Regional DOC most of the time, and our own TC fellows for Spectrum Management who knew a lot but were always reluctant to tackle a real problem, so I had to bypass them (with their okay) once they didn't want to respond to the problems.

In the late 90's I was working with NATS/UK-CAA and Siemens on a passive radar measurement system for aircraft and in the end I had to put a CDMA link in the Gander ACC to transfer data from the central site (one of five) the Brits installed for us and that was the last time I or one of
the guys in my group spoke to Dale Snowdon in YQM.  I had started out contacting Dale Snowdon at DOC when I first started in YQM and the CDMA work was the last time I had any contact with him before he retired.
