Bill Wilson remembers his friend Bill Robson
The notice of Bill (William George) Robson's passing brought souvenirs ...
As you know Bill Robson was Chief of Broadcasting Applications Engineering and deputy of John Chrome, Director of Broadcasting Engineering and Certification in DOT and later DOC.
Both were involved in the management of the broadcast bands. They were leaders of a section of Radio Regs in DOT and later in DOC that was much respected by Canada's broadcast industry (The Canadian Association of Broadcasters) including broadcast consulting engineers as they successfully resolved problems of competition for AM, FM and TV broadcast frequencies.
