Ed Harvey joined DOT in Montreal in September 1954 and was assigned to VFN Montreal.
He transferred to Megantic in March 1955 and then to Fort Chimo in September of the same year.
He worked in Fort Chimo until May 1957 when he was re-assigned to VFN.
From there, Ed went to Nitchequon as OIC in July 1959 where he operated as VE2XT, only to return to VFN in July 1960.
He went to the famed Air Services Training School in June 1962 for the next 10 years and then to Ottawa HQ in June 1972.
The next transfer was to the RAMP Project in January 1980.
Ed is enjoying retirement since June 1990. He presently lives in Ottawa. (VE3EJH)
