Gifford Gray

Joined the Department of Marine and Fisheries as a Radio Operator in 1912

Retired from the Department of Transport (DOT) in 1950

 
 

 

News on the D.O.T. March 1951

 

After 38 years' service with the Radio Branch of the Dominion Government, Gifford Gray retired on October 17, 1950.   

 

Mr. Gray entered the government service in 1912 and served as Radio Operator on many coast stations in B.C.

 

In 1925, he came to Winnipeg to open a District office of the Department of Transport and held the position of District Superintendent of Radio until his retirement.
