Francis (Frank) Joseph Bruce

30 November 1936 - 3 September 2017

On September 3, 2017, Frank passed away surrounded by family at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 80 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian; parents, Daniel and Mary; brothers, Gerard, Cecil and Ned; and sisters, Margaret and Beth.

 

Frank will be lovingly remembered by his sons Paul (Leah), Dean (Darlene), Dan (Gabrielle); grandchildren Tyler, Zachary, Ryan, Nate and Lily; sisters Rose (Ray), Josephine, Jean (Paul), Marion; brothers Harold (Kitty), Bern and Reg (Pegi); sister-in-law Diane; brother-in-law Ned; nieces, nephews and many friends.

 

A funeral mass was held on Monday, September 11 at 1:00 pm at St. Matthew’s Parish, 13131 86 St. NW, Edmonton AB. Interment followed at Evergreen Memorial Gardens at 16102 Fort Road, NW, Edmonton, AB.

 

The family is very appreciative of the staff at Aspen Cottage in Red Deer for their care for dad over the past 5 years.


In lieu of other tributes, donations can be made to the Parkinson Association of Alberta, #102, 5636 Burbank Crescent SE, Calgary AB T2H 1Z6.
